Project-Peace on Earth
Project-Peace on Earth is a worldwide telecast concert of Superstar musicians performing Sacred Music from the most mystical concert venues on the planet. This Six Hour Globally Telecast Musical Prayer scheduled for September 2009 is a daring idea to transform global consciousness, end world hunger, poverty, and provide food, clothing, shelter and safety for children. Germany' s first children and orphan village in south-west Germany is a regular stop on The Durgas' European Tours. They performed and held a music workshop with kids and teenagers from the village and surrounding regions for the 60th anniversary of Pestalozzi Kinderdorf in 2007.

Power to the Peaceful
Every year, renowned and outspoken musician and filmmaker Michael Franti and his group Spearhead – along with Guerrilla Management –present the 911 Power to the Peaceful Festival at Speedway Meadow in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. The free music and arts festival is dedicated to social justice, non violence, coexistence and environmental sustainability and aimed to educate, enrage, enlighten and inspire. Meanwhile, since its initiation 10 years ago, the festival draws over 60,000 attendees.

Only with the belief and engagement of the good spirits at Save the Children UK in Bangkok, The Durgas were able to realize their vision to play at Mae Sod (Thai-Burmese bordertown) during their Benefit Tour through Asia.

GHRE
Grassroots HRED is working to promote education, human rights, and the development of safe, working environment for Burmese people in Thailand. Their projects are currently focused on the welfare and development of Burmese people in the tsunami-affected areas in southern Thailand. GHRE was the main NGO partner sponsoring The Durgas visit to Phang Nga.

Mumbai Mobile Creches
Mumbai Mobile Creches is a non-profit organization (NGO) specifically supporting the health, education and safety of children living on construction sites in Mumbai. It is rare for these kids to have the opportunity to leave their sites, and very rare for visitors to come. As the first foreign band, Benjii and Christopher performed in 7 centers within Mumbai. Over the past 37 years, it is estimated that Mobile Creches has run over 500 centres in Mumbai, Delhi and Pune and reached out to over 650,000 children.

Energy Autonomy
Energy Autonomy is an ambitious cinema project, designed to show how people around the world can be supplied with 100% renewable energy. The film will convincingly document the ecological status quo of the earth. It will also show ways out of the collapse, caused by emissions, waste and political intrigues. The Durgas are very happy to announce that they are going to contribute to the soundtrack of the movie in colabioration with producer/engineer/musician Noa Winter Lazerus.

The former band of Benjii and Christopher, A Subtle Plague (1984 - 1998), was one of the most intense live-bands from the 80s/90s underground movement, mixing Punk, Prog-Rock and Percussion with charismatic Singers Analucia Dasilva and Pat Ryan. Based out of San Francisco, they were touring Europe relentlessly with up to 194 shows per year.
